Dorrit Title explores art in various media: painting, printmaking,
collage, assemblage and photography. A graduate of The Cooper
Union Art School and The San Francisco Art Institute, her work has
been exhibited at the Nassau County Museum of Art, Heckscher
Museum, Firehouse Gallery, Islip Museum, Queensborough
Community College and many other locations, including “The
World’s Women On Line!” an Internet project from Arizona State
University. Her art is in the permanent collection of Queensborough
Community College.

She creates art in various media inspired by landscapes. figures, and
abstract images. “The Dance Series” is inspired by her many years of
teaching dance and incorporates the kinetic energy of motion in various
media. She has also created a body of work dealing with the Holocaust commemorating her family history.
